Who we work with
Different sectors. The same stuck problems.
A heating installer quoting in the evenings and a psychology practice handling a nervous first enquiry have more in common than either would guess. We've worked across property, trades, healthcare, telecoms and professional services — and the pattern repeats: good businesses held back by the admin around the work, not the work itself.
Straight up
We're not a sector specialist
Plenty of agencies will tell you they're "the" agency for your industry. We'd rather be honest: our value isn't that we already know your trade better than you do — it's that we're quick at learning how your business actually runs, and we've solved the underlying problem before in another setting.
What we bring to your sector is a set of patterns we've built many times, and the sense to ask before assuming. What you bring is the expertise. That combination has worked from boiler installations to psychology practices.
What repeats everywhere
- The first reply wins — enquiries arriving out of hours and going cold by morning.
- Pricing lives in one person's head — quoting is slow, inconsistent, and a risk when they're away.
- The job is tracked in three places — a diary, a spreadsheet and somebody's memory.
- Clients ask "where are we up to?" — and answering takes a person half an hour.
- Proof is scattered — certificates, sign-offs and records that matter at exactly the wrong moment.
Sectors
Where our work lands well
Where we've published client work, we've linked it. Where we haven't, we've said what we'd bring rather than implying experience we don't have.
Professional & business services
Firms whose service is already excellent, but whose website and client experience haven't caught up with it. Proposals, onboarding, document handling and the portal clients log into.
Client work: Unity Document Solutions
Property & construction
Developers, agents and investors whose first impression is made online and whose day is made of viewings, valuations and progress updates. Portfolios, project tracking, investor-facing numbers and maps.
Client work: Barrett Properties, Hido Homes
Trades & home services
Installers, engineers and contractors quoting after hours and losing weekend enquiries to whoever answers first. Quoting engines, job tracking, certificates and an assistant on the front door.
Client work: A1 Boiler Installations
Health & wellbeing
Practices and practitioners where the hardest click is the first one. Careful enquiry journeys, private client areas, booking, session records and content that reassures before it sells.
Client work: Brilliant Minds Psychology, Hido Coach
Energy, telecoms & utilities
Businesses selling something technical to buyers who just want to know what it costs and what changes. Calculators, comparison tools, credible brand, and one story that holds across several product lines.
Client work: River Telecoms & Renewable Energy
Retail & automotive
Where stock, pricing and bookings live in systems that don't talk to each other. We'd bring integration between your sales channels, part-exchange or enquiry capture, and reporting that reconciles.
No published client work here yet — we'd say so at the first meeting too.
Hospitality, leisure & transport
Businesses judged on the booking experience long before arrival. Availability and enquiry flows, guest or passenger communication, reviews, and the admin that eats a duty manager's shift.
Adjacent experience: booking and enquiry systems built in other sectors.
Education & training
Course providers, trainers and individual departments buying directly rather than through a national framework. Course finders, learner records, certificates and portals that parents or employers can check.
Adjacent experience: learner portals and certification built for training providers elsewhere.
Charity & not-for-profit
Small teams doing serious work with no digital budget to speak of. Donation and sign-up journeys, volunteer coordination, impact reporting — and every year we give some of this away.
See our community commitments, including pro-bono work.
Public sector
We're a small independent studio, not a framework supplier. Where we fit is a single team, service or department procuring directly — a tool that solves one problem properly, with UK hosting and documentation your IT people can audit.
We'll tell you early if your procurement route rules us out.
Not on the list?
Most of our work starts with someone describing a process that's slipping. If that's you, the sector matters less than the problem — bring it to a demo and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right people.

Six patterns we've built again and again
These are the things that transfer between sectors. It's why a system built for a heating installer informs one built for a property developer.
Enquiry to first reply
Catching the enquiry wherever it lands, qualifying it, and answering quickly enough to matter — including out of hours.
Quote to cash
Turning pricing knowledge into rules, so quotes go out fast and consistent, and invoicing follows the work rather than trailing it.
The job, tracked once
One place showing where every job, case or project actually is — replacing the diary, the spreadsheet and the memory.
Client-facing portals
A private area where clients see progress, documents and approvals themselves, which stops the "where are we up to?" call before it happens.
Proof and compliance
Certificates, sign-offs, audit trails and records — captured as the work happens, findable the moment somebody asks.
Numbers you trust
Reporting built from the system's own data, so the figures in the board pack match the figures in the business.
Fit both ways
When we'd point you elsewhere
We'd rather lose the work than take on something we'd do badly. We'll say so if you need a large multi-year programme with a team of thirty, if your procurement demands framework accreditations we don't hold, or if a well-configured off-the-shelf product would genuinely serve you better than anything custom.
That honesty is easier to give early. It's also why clients in completely unrelated sectors keep recommending us to each other.
What every sector gets
- A named team — the people who scoped it are the people who build it.
- Plain English — no jargon used to make simple things sound expensive.
- UK hosting, UK support — and data residency you can state to your own customers.
- You own it — code, data and documentation, whatever happens next.
- Built to be handed over — documented well enough that another developer could pick it up.
Tell us about your week
Not your sector — your week. The part that's slipping, the job nobody wants, the thing you apologise to clients about. That conversation is free, and you'll get a straight answer about whether we can help.
